I'm afraid the cattle won...A very good article. I'm afraid the cattle won't be taken off the land and more's the pity because the ecosystems in the West will only get worse if not corrected now. At least they should give it a try. I'm not an expert, but I've heard that cattle ruin the land by grazing because they wrap their tongues around the forage and pull it out by the roots. Unlike horses who only graze the grass and leave the roots able to replenish themselves. I don't know if the statement about cattle is true but it makes sense. <br /><br />How will they ever be able to tell the cattle ranchers using the land that it's ecologically harmful if they can't even agree there is such a thing as global warming and many species are in danger of becoming extinct, like the polar bears.
